Near the end of the film, when Roland is packing his manuscript, the title page is briefly shown.
Was anyone able to read it and, if so, would you please tell me what it said?
It looked like it was perhaps a three-word title, but I couldn't make it out.

Angelina Jolie wrote and directed the movie, and in the movie the author played by Brad Pitt says that he wants to write about them but change their names and other things to not make it so appearant that it is about them. in a book which became titled BY THE SEA.
I do solemny believe that that is what Jolie did here the movie is about Pitt's and Jolie's relationship which of course have been proven to been a bit rocky in recent events of their real lives, it's not really a coincidence that Jolie in the movie can't get pregnant and Jolie in real life can't either (at least after her cancer avoiding operations) I thought that they were gonna give the character cancer in the movie it's possible that she did have that but they never brought it up if so.
There have also been talks about Jolie having a substance abuse problem in real life as well. So there was definite a real life inspiration in her script.
We don't have a dog. That was just some really violent sex.
