I actually enjoyed all three films. Yeah, I know, each film may have had their downsides and lame aspects...but still, I enjoyed them. There were a few really memorable and creative segments. I wish V/H/S 4 was in the making.
Is the franchise dead?
Funny, you asked this after the third, and there have been three more. So it's not dead yet. That doesn't mean they are any good, but I guess there is something about each to make it somewhat worthwhile. I still think the first two are very good and I can revisit them any time. It's been spotty since then, but there's no reason they won't keep trying I guess.
