After you think the film has ended, you’re treated to “Gorgeous Vortex”. This one is super arthouse and really the first in any of the V/H/S films to take this direction. Its beautifully shot and edited, and really is one to let the viewer sort of take their own from it. If you were into something like Under The Skin last year, then you really should have no trouble in enjoying this. From a technical standpoint its rather impressive, and is really fun to look at.
Find it weird how it doesn't say anything about what is happening in Gorgeous Vortex while others got short story descriptions.

I think Gorgeous Vortex will be very, very polarizing. Some will love it to death and others will hate it. I had already found an interview that GV would be something very "experimental" and "out-of-the-box", and now I can't wait to see this!
Thank you for posting this!
EDIT:
The first had five shorts, the sequel four and on the surface here it appears to be just three. However, after the credits finished rolling, and hidden almost easter egg like, in its own title set even, is our fourth found footage wonder.
In case you are forgotten, there's a point in the end credits where the film "pauses" and the tape rewinds to cue in ROOM8's score. It would be brilliant if it paused and actually fast-forwarded the credits right to Gorgeous Vortex's title screen, now that'd be a nice laugh :D
Good find Svalina. The review is accurate of the segments, though slices a little more favorable than I would. I'm still a little confused though. Are we to understand GV is not found footage?
I don't see why it wouldn't be, the review would mention something obvious like that, it just seems to be some weird arthouse project, that's all we know.
So, I guess it was removed because it clashed with the tone of other segments? Nah, that doesn't sound right either.
This one alien chick replaces the previous alien chick who's dead with the help of her motorcycle friend, she lures people so they can have their skin and meat. She has a change of heart after an encounter with a deformed man, tries to be more human, but dies because of a rapist.
Todd Lincoln’s ‘Gorgeous Vortex’ (HD, 17 Mins.) - This extra isn’t found anywhere on the menus, but is rather added at the end of the final credits for the movie. There is no dialogue to the film, but follows a woman in a dreamlike or nightmare type of state as she battles a hideous monster, is raped by masked men, all while dressed in next to nothing. The film is beautiful and not an action piece at all, no matter how it might sound. It’s a head scratcher for sure, but worth watching.
[quote]Cut from the main feature is Todd Lincoln's (The Apparition) Gorgeous Vortex, the most stylish and creepy of all the material. The 16-minute, dialogue-free short plays after the film concludes on the Blu-ray. I can see why this was cut from V/H/S: Viral. It's way too avant-garde to fit amid this other nonsense. I'm not sure I understood what was going on - the synopsis claims a secretive organization is tracking a serial killer - but a gorgeous woman (Jayden Robison) has startling visions of hooded figures and imagines herself as the victim in gruesome murders. There's also birthday cake and a killer bird. If only the real movie was this crazy[\quote]
This is why the U.S. is falling behind in the intelligence game - The C.I.A. and our other secretive organizations refuse to recognize the power of birthday cakes and killer birds in its day to day operations!!!
