So I didn't know what to expect going into this movie. I was interested at first, then it all of a sudden changed to the magician thing--realized it was a completely separate storyline. I liked the magician story line, but was still wondering about the first couple. I had no subtitles for the whole Parallel universe thing, so I had absolutely no idea what any of that meant and it really frustrated me. Part of it I didn't even watch, the part right before the skaters story I was bored and did crunches or something. Then I started watching again, saw the skaters thing and on from there. I was really hoping that because this movie ended up being complete and utter shi* that they would at least explain what happened to the guy's girlfriend, but unless I totally missed something---was there an explanation??? Who kidnapped her? What was up with the icecream truck with the tv's, why did she go crazy? How did he know where to find her? If anyone can please explain the Parallel Universe one and the mainstream story to me I would be grateful, because I just wasted a ton of time watching a terrible movie at least hoping things would be explained and I got no closure. So now I am just annnoyed.

The main story was a bit weird. I don't really know what was going on. I guess they all just went crazy.

With the parallel world story, basically a guy built a machine that was a portal to a different dimension and on the other side was another version of him with the doors perfectly synced up. They realize that they are just versions of each other and think the same and mostly say the same things and assume everything is the same. They decide that they are going to explore each other's world starting at 4:10 AM and spend exactly 15 minutes and then return. The original version of the guy tells his double to not wake Marta, the wife (normal version)

The normal version guy starts exploring and noticing some differences and then hears his (alternate version) wife and follows her into what looks like it's going to be some weird orgy. We see alternate version guy taking pictures of normal version wife. Eventually normal version who "normally goes first" and apparently had been cooped up in the basement for months wasn't doing anything so the two strangers start to leave. He rushes outside to find the two guys still there and they assume he wants them to come back. He doesn't, so they start freaking out about still being filmed. Eventually they show that the alternate version people glow from their orifices and chase him down and pull out what appears to be a monster penis, which he freaks out about and stabs the one guy. The alternate version guy who is standing over the normal version wife sleeping, pulls out his monster penis.

Normal version guy runs back inside and runs into alternate version wife who sees the blood and heard the screams and assumes the husband wanted to have fun without her. She undresses showing her monster vagina. He then freaks out and pushes her out of the way and hits her. He makes his way back into his own dimension and runs into the alternate version of himself and gets stabbed in the leg and alternate version runs back into his own dimension where he finds his wife who says something about acting on laws that administer punishment for domestic abuse and eats her husband's head with her vagina.

Then the normal guy closes the gate on the other world and is yelling for his wife who comes in and stabs him in the chest.

You should probably check out the other VHS movies they were a bit better than this one. Although I kinda dug the magician and alternate universe stories in this one. The skate one was dumb and the main story was weird.

Thank you for that. I literally just watched it, without subtitles, and was really confused.

You don't really need the subtitles to figure it out. I guess that's why some versions didn't include them right away. Nothing is really explained with the english dialogue. The alternate world is whatever you assume it is. Some kind of morally-opposite world.
