Way too random and senseless. Am I missing something?

Some of the individual stories were ok, but they never came together to tell any kind of real story. Creepshow did this, but they were all part of a comic book that the kid was reading and were not meant to be part of a greater story. Here they seemed to try to make it all part of the same story with a similar theme, especially with the ice cream truck, but it just didn't make sense. I like the magician story, but some of the others were just too random. If I am missing something, please let me know.

the shorts weren't supposed to follow a theme. they were just separate incidents that occurred in the same story. the only story with a point was Vicious Circles, and that point being the dissolution of peoples' conscious and morals as they search for their 15 minutes of fame by recording violence, and the consequences that they must pay for these atrocities. The whole idea is that all of the VHS segments in the three movies so far all occurred in the same universe. Even in the first two movies, they show that watching the videos effects you negatively. So when the guy uploads ALL of the segments and broadcasts them to the entire world, it will effect EVERYONE and cause mass destruction and chaos. Really what they are trying to say is that with this urge and lust for quick fame through the internet and video sharing, people are loosing their conscious and becoming evil.
