Wasted Potential for 'Parallel Monsters' and 'Dante the Great'

What major disappointments overall.

Both had good, creepy premises and the build up for both was actually pretty decent. The execution, however, was just downright awful. Neither were particularly scary as they went on, the effects were awful in both and the payoff was lackluster.

Parallel Monsters really pissed me off though because I genuinely thought it was going to be amazing. And it could have been if they just got rid of the dumb genital monsters and were given a longer length, such as Safe Haven from the 2nd.

I agree, such a disappointing movie.

I liked both of them.. I got over the weird feelings really fast when it got to the climax.

Couldn't agree more. Parallel Monsters in particular, set up for what I antecipated as a great premise, where the protagonist would travel to an alternate reality where being evil was reversed and thought of as the right thing and being good was despised, while the evil self being would suffer to understand how being good could be seen as the right thing to do.
I should have listened to this board and avoided this movie, such a letdown.
