Nothing new is being said here *spoilers and questions*

it wasn't a complete waste of time, but it could've been used for better things. The bright side is that they left some things to your imagination (ie bag of blood/ritual, giant monster in Bonestorm, etc).

"Dante the Great" was a good concept, should have been a direct to redbox full length film. The story and documentary style didn't fit in with the series. Acting wasn't as bad as I've been reading in reviews.

"Parallel Monsters" wasn't bad, stayed true to series and didn't have the ridiculous distortion. What was the bag of blood and meat all about? The timeliness of the domestic abuse was pretty spot on.

"Bonestorm", meh. The skeletons took one of the kids into the tunnels, what happened to him? Did he become the monster? Also, the monster at the end, did it swallow one of the cameras or ate one of the 4 main characters

Oh, "Viscious Circles", this was a pretty poor wrap around. So what was accomplished is that all VHS entries went viral to make the entire world go insane? Seems like a British horror/suspense film called "the Signal". The main characters were annoying and I couldn't get past them.

One more question: the police in the helicopter in Bonestorm, did they know of the ritual so they decided to bail or they just saw something completely crazy and wanted no part of it?

Parallel Monsters - I don't think we're meant to speculate much on what the ritual or blood bag means. I see it as analogous to a Christmas tree or a Jack-o-Lantern. It was obviously some customary display of religion or tradition in this strange world. Imagine how strange a Christmas tree might look to a visitor...however, we'd hardly give a second thought to explaining it since its so well ingrained in us. Obviously this bag of meat was so inconsequential in this reality that it didn't bear mentioning.

What really troubled me was the fact that these weren't humans. I think an alternate universe where something like demon worship had become the norm would've been a fine premise...why did we get non-humans?

Bonestorm - I don't think the monster was supposed to be one of the kids...it seemed to be in its own, separate area of the underground tunnels. At the end, I think we're supposed to take away that eats the videographer who's still holding the camera.

Dante the Great seems to be the most polarizing of the bunch...I actually thought it was a bit silly. Bonestorm was unoriginal but well-ish done considering the company, and Parallel Monsters was a fantastic idea that went in the wrong direction.

In parallel monsters the bag of meat is some sort of body/sacrifice/etc that their genitalia eat in some sort of sex ritual. She says her husband likes to go first, but he wouldn't be able to even if he knew to eat the bag with his penis like the other guy did to his wife's (normal) body, as you can see bite marks and blood spotted all over her.
