I wasn't a big fan of how fast this movie shifts from one scene to the next but in order to get everything about Elvis into the movie, they probably had to do this.
I think it was a good film, you should watch the whole thing, it does slow down in many parts and tells a pretty good story about his life.
However, you shouldn't post remarks about movies unless you've seen it in it's entirety. Coming in here and ranting about a movie which you only saw 15 minutes of is kind of dumb. just saying...
IF HE DISLIKES THE MAN AND THE MUSIC...HE PROBABLY WOULDN'T LIKE ANY VERSION OF THE FILM.
shareWhich makes it even more puzzling.
If you don't like the guy, why start watching it in the first place? And on top of that, you waste board space on a film you watched for 15 minutes. Its just bizarre when people do this.
Agree. you wanna hate watch a movie and come in here to bash it; that passion makes sense. If you loved the movie and can't stop talking about it, coming here makes sense. Someone so uncaring about it and turns the film on in 15 minutes doesn't make any sense; unless he's just here to troll.
shareI have to disagree with those who say someone shouldn't post something unless they've watched the entire movie or if they hated what they saw of it. The movie had an IMDB score of 7.5 which was enough to make me give it a try, even though I never cared for Elvis or his music. Maybe it would reveal something about the man that would make me change my mind, but I hated it from the start, for reasons stated, and saw no reason to continue watching.
There are no rules, unwritten or not, about why or when someone should post an opinion on this forum. Simple as that.
Kbiker,
If I take a painting that I've never seen and cover 90% of it before viewing it , would that make me an expert on that painting? Keep in mind, I've only seen 10% of the artist's work.
What if I read the first 10 pages of a novel. Could I write an essay on it?
If I listen to 10 seconds of Adele's new hit song, could I send a review of it to be published in Rolling Stone Magazine?
Atleast watch the entire film, then you can comment on it.
