Obviously not the real Lake Tahoe. Any nitpicker knowing the native vegetation of each could easily see that. Also, all of the scenes of American cities shown were shot in Canada.

shareI live in Reno - they did a fairly good job of finding a Tahoe-esque location and house.
The street where Zev falls, however, is definitely not Reno-esque. Also, there is no Reno Memorial Hospital.
