Geriatric thriller .. Lol

Well I wouldn't call this a riveting thriller that I was promised in the synopsis OnDemand lol. I found that what could have been a really good premise , and a great lead actor in Plummer wasted in a washed down script as well as plot. I found it rather funny (although the subject is a serious one) because it was this old guy (Plummer) sticking up people that were on a kill list that had nothing to do with the killing of his family. It's certainly a geriatric thriller for the ages as I've never seen anything quite like it. There wasn't a character that mattered under 75 I don't think lol. It certainly doesn't deserve such a high rating, but what does these days on IMDb.

THERES NO ROOM IN MY CIRCUS TENT FOR YOU !!!!

Of course, it can't be a thriller with anyone older than Ryan Gosseling or Leo DiCaprio. You are quite a testament for your age group and...intelligence but what more can we expect from today's IMDb users...

mTopomax, ohhhh, just wait. The OP will get older and appreciate the "old" actors. I remember when I was a teenager and thought 40 was old. Now? Ha! That's almost a spring chicken! LOL!

By the way, your user name is the same as this migraine medication I used to take. I'm glad I don't have to take it anymore.

Yeah I remember when I thought 30 and 40 were old, and it seemed like a flash and suddenly I am over 40. Life is such a short, crazy and twisted ride. All one can hope for is having enough tickets to make it to the end of the ride with a reasonable amount of health.

...or you could just die killin' Natzies!

"lol" all you want

Props to Plummer and Norris.

The scenes between Zev and the younger Kurlander was one of the most intense film sequences I have seen in a while. Those were brilliantly acted and directed, even more so because they start off calm and friendly, but you know where it is going.....

I actually felt physically agitated myself. It is rare for me to feel that unless I am watching live theatre.

As an animal lover, I have to say the dog also deserves credit. I am sure the vicious barking was added later, but Eva sold it.

"Props to Plummer and Norris."

I wholeheartedly agree with that, and with your review!
