..."twist" at the end is enough to ruin the experience of this amazing movie for most people.

I understand that it's totally natural while watching a movie to try to figure things out before they happen. We've all done it.

I get it, we've been subconsciously conditioned to expect that surprise payoff at the end of most movies so we can feel satisfied when we walk out of the theatre. Unfortunately, it's become all too common and a little cliche.

Sure it gives you a fleeting sense of intellectual superiority (why people think that's important, I can't understand), but unfortunately it's always at the expense of having a really great experience.

This film never seems to come off as one of those movies that is building to some kind of twist ending that are all too common in the last decade or so. That's why when it actually happens, it's a sucker punch to the gut and very effective.

I'm only mentioning this because almost every review that I've read mentions the "twist" at the end. Granted, some people try to be subtle about it, but the fact that they're already alluding to some kind of surprise is enough to get someones brain into "Sherlock Mode".
I know mine would.

It's not like someone is scanning the message boards and getting spoiled by reading something they shouldn't. That would be completely their fault.

I'm just talking about regular reviews that people read to see if they even want to watch the movie. Reviews, which technically aren't "spoiling" anything because they're not giving any information away, but they are still totally spoiling it.

At the end of the day, it really doesn't matter if someone doesn't like a movie, or they feel like they wasted their time. There will always be someone who would most likely feel that way no matter what.
I'm mostly just concerned about the people who might miss out on the intended movie experience, which in my opinion, is totally satisfying.
