In a very few years all WW2 vets and nazi crimes survivors will be dead and all future testimonials will be shared through books and documentaries only.

Its already forgotten. WWII and the holocaust, for many people... its just a sub genre for movies and nothing more.
if you see the news these days you will see "us" going the same path again, and that alone is the proff that; my friend... its already forgotten.

I agree.. apparently humans have a 50 year cycle.. I guess that's how long it takes us to forget the lessons we should learn so we're actually overdue but I do find it sad that we don't learn!
shareYeah, as an amateur historian myself, I understand and feel the same sadness when you know an event will soon turn from memory to history.
But at least we're living in a new age where history is chronicled better than never before.
