Really liked the film. But being a bit of a gun guy, it irked me when Carter referred to Sade's handgun as a .45. To which Sade replied "well the man knows his guns". Sade's handgun is not a .45. Lol. But hey whatever.

shareThe weapon sure looked like a .45 to me. Maybe you are referring to the deputy's revolver which Sade used in the second half of the film.

The handgun Sade had was a Beretta 92-Series or clone. They are chambered in 9mm or .40 S&W, not .45. The deputy's revolver was a Ruger GP100 which is chambered for .357 magnum. I've got one of each.
