It looks like they're finally waking up to Batiste's bantering shortcomings and replacing him with Meredith. On Wednesday, Stephen talked very briefly to Batiste about the mac and cheese reformulation, and then asked Meredith about it. On Thursday, after the opening credits, he looked left to Batiste, then went straight to talking to Meredith.

I think Meredith works. She's not great, but, she's a thousand times better than Batiste and appears to be a pretty good foil for Stephen.

I find the transition pretty interesting- how they've slowly introduced her in the obvious attempt to downplay Batiste's failure.

And making me hungry for mac and cheese! I live overseas and can't get a box without paying an arm and a leg.

I'm sorry, but Kraft Mac & Cheese is pretty disgusting- and I'm about as far from a food snob that you can imagine.

Anyone catch his conversation with Meredith on Monday? No Meredith on Tuesday, but no Batiste either. I predict that within two weeks, he'll be talking to Meredith every day.
