The Daily show and The Colbert Report made him famous, and they happened to be shows mainly about politics, so it's not weird that social commentary has become his niche. Check out the sketch Waiters who are Nauseated by Food and you'll see he's funny without politics.

I stopped watching a lot of shows because i am so tired of hearing about Trump i know the man is crazy but its just annoying. I used to watch Stephen show and was rooting for him to get good ratings but it became The Donald Trump show and it got annoying quickly and boring.
This is why i miss Leno he would make fun of everyone and still put on a good show.
I don't mind if he mentions him everyday ,but he should make one or two jokes and move on to the next thing.
It's overkill ,I am sick and tired of Trump.
