This was the best cartoon/CGI/kid's-movie I've seen in a long time.

I liked this movie a lot. Much better than almost every other 'kids' movie. I don't know why people would give it a bad review; must be because they read the book and the movie wasn't the same or something. Me, never reading the book....I thought the movie was great.

Another theory why some might not like it is because it's an intelligent movie that adults can enjoy. Most kid's movies have obnoxious slapstick jokes every 5 seconds. This movie did not. I even read a negative review that said the jokes took too long to set up. But that's precisely why I enjoyed the movie.

Agree. I believe it's destined to be a classic. No wise-guy sarcasm, eye-rolling, put-downs and over-wrought verbal inflection as you see in most of the "kids" movies today. Just a good entertaining and intelligent story.

Finally A review I can relate to. Loved the movie too!!! I hope people will see through it. I wish there will be more of these.

This one had been in my DVD player since I bought it on Monday. I'm watching this for the third time and I'm enjoying it better with each viewing.

Yes! People can't appreciate a more intelligent kids movie any more. Don't get me wrong, I love most of the kids movies that come out, but not everything has to have you rolling with laughter every few seconds, it's ok to make kids think about the jokes a little...
