I liked the style at the beginning. And the mystery with the dreams. But it wasn't explained well enough. Everything with the Queen was just like another movie. And the humor was awful and boring. And there was a third movie. The other giants. They looked like Shrek and did not fit in the movie at all. At least not like they were.

I would give this movie a 5/10 for a nice BFG and the girl. Also for the style in the beginning.

I gave this a 5/10.

To be fair, "everything with the Queen" was in the book. So it was justified. But you're right, within this film's atmosphere it did seem out of place. Though in the animated version, all scenes suited each other (including the Queen's).

Fashion is a form of ugliness so intolerable that we have to alter it every six months.
