a modern classic for sure, amazing story superbly told, wasn't even aware it was a SS film until the end as saw no trailers and knew nothing about it it - completely blown away, a very, very good film. Bravo.

was it really a classic though? I liked it and all but it wasn't "spectacular"...7/10 for me.

Definitely not a classic and indeed nothing spectacular. it certainly won't leave an imprint. In a year, it'll be pretty much forgotten.
