American breakfast, German efficiency
I liked how when Tom Hanks' character orders the breakfast the servers slide them on the table really quickly and efficiently. Was this a sly joke about German efficiency, or am I reading too much into it?

If you saw the depiction of Conrad Hilton on Mad Men, he ran a tight ship around the world and micromanaged his hotels.
Now of course, its gone to hell in a handbag like all service oriented businesses in the corporate world.
