I loved Tinker Tailor and I'm wondering if this is anything like it...

I think it is a good film but it is nothing like Tinker Taylor...
There is an element of mystery in the film but it is more of a film about a couple of characters.
If you like spy movies or period films you will like it.

Actually the crossing of the bridge incident at the end reminded me of the same ending of Smiley's People.

People need to stop comparing movies that aren't in any way similar.

This is nothing like Munich and it is nothing like Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy.

Might as well ask if it is like Austin Powers cause spies are involved.

No it was different to 'Tinker Taylor Soldier Spy' in that this was a spy movie that you could actually completely follow from start to finish without having to ask a heap of questions afterwards or having to go back and read the synopsis to fully understand what you just watched. I didn't know to begin with that this was a completely true story, but I guess its trustfulness explains why I could follow it as opposed to so many ridiculously convoluted fictional spy story efforts with their endless twists and subplots that seem to be needed to make the writer look clever.
