Tom hanks asking about Vogel and wrongly-guessing twice in the embassy felt 100% Coen brother's moment.And some other parts,especially from Second half had Those Absurd moments straight from Joel and Ethan's page.

It's a long time since I enjoyed a Spielberg film. When I saw the Cohn Brothers names in the credits I wondered if that was the reason why. Which is probably unfair to everyone else involved but there you go.

That scene and the actor's performance and his hand gentures stuck out to me as very Coen-esque. Don't know why but I enjoy that little scene in the film. One of Spielberg's best dramas.
