shareIronically, these days there is an excellent shop for marmelade and similar right at the site of the former Berlin Wall, near the Brandenburger Tor. Excellent stuff that I can never find anywhere else, even though we have German import stores around here. Hanks should have just gone there. ;)
shareCalifornia made marmalade is so sweet your teeth will fall out. Try the English type orange marmalade made from Spanish Seville oranges. Its tart and has more flavor. I have also had marmalade made from lemons. Get Dundee brand from Scotland or Robertson's from England. Try Amazon if stores near you don't have it.
