Are there any British people here with an opinion on Julie's accent (Emma Hamilton)? I thought she was a British actress but was surprised to find she was born in Melbourne. I thought her accent was pretty good.

Unless, of course, her accent is genuine because she's lived most of her life in the UK

Had the exact same thought as it was so impressive & did a quick check; it seems she spent most of her time in Australia.

I thought she muffed her accent. Only very occasionally could I get the English accent after she said she was English, although sound quality in the Cinema was not especially good.
