How old are the Kulina characters supposed to be?

I have not see the whole series so maybe it has been addressed but I have been wondering their ages.

I think I heard Ryan is 28ish in the first episode. That is the only character age reference I have heard in the series.

I recall Jay saying he was taking care of Nate since he was 15. Makes me think there's at least 5 year age gap there. Nate could be anywhere from still a teenager to mid twenties. Jay could be in his mid twenties too for that matter or upwards of 35ish.

But then I look at their mom and dad and they look like they're in their late thirties or mid forties at most. Christina mentioned that she went to college for a year before she had a kid, so that places her at maybe 18ish when she likely got pregnant.

Other characters I'm not as interested in figuring out their ages but if you've got a guess on them go for it!

When Alvey talks to his son about options, he's says something like "you're 23,what about school." Plus Jay, Ryan and Lisa seem pretty tight and since both Lisa and Ryan are 28ish, that's where I put Jay. And five years seems like the gap, plus Alvey and Christina don't seem to have had much more than 5 years in their relationship.

Clever people will recognize and tolerate nothing but cleverness.
