That was probably the weakest finale or mid season finale I have seen and I really like this show. I was so pumped to see that finale.
Christina should have died. I love the Christina character but her death would have been a turning point for the characters like Opie from Sons of Anarchy to a lesser degree.
I thought it was very good, Ryan won one battle only to lose another which i have to say i really think that was a great performance right through the episode, normally Jay steals the show but i thought there were some great performances in an emotion filled episode Ryan, Alvey and even Nate had some great scenes too.. i would have loved that other great scene stealer Keith to have had some input but we can't get everything in life :) Amazing show, deserves a heck of a lot more exposure.. really looking forward to it picking up where it has left off in the new year.. very true in some ways, i believe the deaths of opie, his wife and father in SoA is what began the death of the show, because they were members of a biker gang, yet still tried to keep their morals together and maintain as much honor as possible, not many members of the gang could say they did the same.
without that little bit of honor and morals in a shi!ty situation involving criminal actions, drugs, guns and death, the show declined into how and with whom to make more money, which in turn began a vicious cycle of crime, violence, death and just enough money to save their heads from the chopping block for the next season, however more and more family and gang members kept dying at the same time.
my point is sometimes a character death is not as valuable to a show's continuity as them surviving and learning how to handle their lives and difficulties differently.
I thought it was great. Although Christina didn't die, her OD was clearly a turning point, the younger brother wants her clean or out. His attitude has completely changed towards his mom.

yeah man, I have to disagree as well. as another poster said, the stuff with ryan winning one battle only to lose another with his father. that was some great television. this show definitely
deserves more recognition.
