I don't think so, hopefully they don't go down that path. I think it's more that Ryan is his only friend and he thinks that Alicia is going to take him away from him. That's how I see it. He doesn't want her to be with Ryan so he can spend more time with him.

You can be clingy for a friend without there being romantic feelings... He loves Ryan and looks up to him, maybe a bit too much.

My take away was that the sex noises caused Keith to regress to his childhood traumas. The way he stood outside the door reminded me of a child outside their parents bedroom.
