Thoughts on Nate's prospective romantic interest this season, Will?

I'm thankful to see Nate possibly dating a guy. Like, yeah, sex, whatever. I want to see Nate engage in actual intimacy with another man. Will seems a bit odd and fun, and is very different from Nate. Yet I like how he challenges Nate, and how he might bring him out of his shell. Not necessarily have Nate come out as bi or gay, but get him to open up. That "brick wall" comment was spot on because Nate is so reserved and standoffish. He's kind of a non-entity a lot of the time.

That moment in 2.15 when they leaned in to each other before parting ways was awkwardly sweet.

I just hope the writers don't ~punish~ Will for liking Nate later on. I'd hate to have a story line where Will shows up at the gym again or at Nate's match, and Nate retaliates because he worries what others will think.

I agree with everything you said and I hope that we get to see a relationship develop between them. I still wish that they could have gotten together without Nate being assaulted. I know Will wasn't there and he technically had nothing to do with it, but I still hate that Will knows what Bob does and goes along with it.

If Will can get Nate to come out of his shell, maybe Nate can get Will to leave Bob and his shadiness behind.

I totally agree and I really like them together. Will being so different from Nate and all the people in his world I hope makes Nate feel more comfortable with himself and unafraid of being who he is 100%. I'd also like to see them help each other. Will makes Nate open up and Nate helps Will to break free of Bob

Will wasn't directly involved in Nate's drugging/date rape or whatever. He was basically the cleanup guy (Bob gets him to pay off the victims). The guy that Nate had sex with in the threesome was some random dude.

I wanted Nate to get Will away from that messy job, but I guess that's not gonna now.
