I'm still thinking about this movie ....


long after I've seen it. It is ONE of those kind of movies, it tugs on your heartstrings and won't let go.

I remember John's smile, makes me sad.

Same here. I felt for John so much. He was so beautiful, grounded, and fiercely loving. Near the end when he says "...before I was revived, when I was gone for a bit. It was so easy, Timbo. Are you okay hearing that?" with that little smile. Well, I certainly needed some tissues.

I give kudos to Tim for writing himself objectively and honestly. No one is perfect in reality and I appreciate Tim's honesty in revealing that he didn't always treat John as well as he deserved. I take that as a desire to try and redeem himself, which is endearing.

Rufus Wainwright's "Forever and a Year", which plays during their final love making, is so beautiful and haunting.
