Loved the lead actors more after I've watched their interviews because..

they've taken the extra mile for their commitment to their characters. They asked for the blessings and help from Tim's and John's families and friends. They took their acting as a responsibility and build their chemistry so far as Craig even said in one of the interviews, that he and Ryan was basically a couple and they took their chemistry behind the scenes holding hands etc. and that's when they felt first hand the prejudice for gay couples. They loved their characters that they needed some debriefing after their most intense scenes. Craig even said it took him 2-3 months getting back from John. And IMO, this chemistry and commitment really showed in the film. When I watched the movie, I felt like I am watching 2 real life lovers and not an adaptation. Kudos to them both!

Those two really pulled out all the stops to make it believable. With the very honest and open way that Tim wrote his ode to John, they had to.

I adore Craig the most though. I think he channeled John in that role. The fact that he is also (based on what I've seen in the interviews) very supportive of gay rights is also awesome.

Agreed. I remember Craig in one of their earlier interviews went so far as calling Australia full of bigots. And in their more recent ones, whenever asked about his stance in gay issues, he needed to excuse himself from answering the question as he is receiving a lot of backlash from his previous interview. I started to look for his other works after learning that he is very supportive of gay rights. He is very hot. And IMHO opinion he is hotter than Ryan Corr.
