Beastiality?

Since the dude had a child with the turtle woman and the turtle woman was actually a turtle, is the film implying the dude engaged in beastiality?

reply

yes
now, get lost

reply

Yes - he really came out of his shell on that island.

reply

It left me rather shellshocked, personally.

reply

Thats the impression the film left on you? Questioning turtle, human sex?
Or are you just a juvenile 8 year old who hasn't learnt to make funny statements/ jokes yet?

reply

It's not necessarily a juvenile question. If you try to view this film pragmatically and ground the magical events in it, it is a possible interpretation.

What if the turtle/woman was some ancient force of nature, like an ancient bestial deity, that spent a fraction of her immortality with the castaways full human life to sire a demigod child?

reply

Bestiality.

reply

Feh, that turtle's no Renamon! Foxy lady! ;D

reply

I took it as the man fantasized everything to keep himself sane. The son went away as if he never existed, and the wife was the only company he had, which was the turtle; and died by the turtle's side.

reply

Their son moves to America and becomes a teenager in the sewers along with 3 others of similar parentage.

See, you just realized you were tricked into watching the secret prequel reboot of the TMNT franchise.
