questions!!!

Please someone should explain the following: 1. Why did Pacino hired the Accountant? 2 why did the Accountant move the body? 3. Who's th accountant? 4. Why did the accountant killed the innocent lady? 5. Why did the Ackerman character faked her kidnapping? 6. What's the fate of Hopkins?

reply

1. To do his bidding (the dirty work).
2. So Duhamel gets the blame for killing her.
3. A victim of the drug trial that's initiated by Hopkins.
4. He didn't intend to kill the neighbour but just to hurt her bad enough so eventually she'd testify to the police and point Duhamel as the suspect.
5. Mainly, to leave Hopkins and also get some money from him.
Ackerman character's kinda tricky, she's the trigger that starts the conflict in the film.
6. It's left unsure. Even though he bought back the evidence (the victim deaths list of the drug trial evidence) from Pacino (which secretly worked for him), Duhamel & the police might try to relate him to the crimes (e.g. bribery) he did that's covered by Pacino. But he'd most probably go free.

I had questions too. but the film was sort of boring. so I don't really care however I am on IMDB to see what other people thought about it.

there was a lot left to the viewer's imagination.

reply

2. Incorrect. Abrams is mad that the police is after him. He needs to get to him first (phone call with Denning)
4. Incorrect. There is no way she would assume a masked motorcycle guy is Duhamel.
