I enjoyed this movie even though I figured Cassandra was the mastermind. Also, If a bunch of kids tried to put a bag over my head I would snap their necks. Still very creepy and intense in some parts. I recommend it.
shareIm not sure that any of the characters were real except for Jenny, the kids were not real kids as shown at the end. One kid touches hands Jenny with the high five so physical interactions with things that are not real were shown to be possible.
Everything started when Jenny put the glasses on including seeing her co workers for the time. Everything felt to me like it was some kind of game development test and that Jenny never actually left the room where she found the glasses.
I dont know, pretty confusing stuff but i did enjoy the movie

I kind of dozed off a few times because Jenny was boring and the movie was slow at certain points.....so I may have missed a few things.
When she high fived the boy I thought it showed a spark, implying it was virtual and they didn't actually connect.
Also at the end when it showed the "machine" recreating her house I took it to mean none of it was real to begin with, including her mom. Maybe the mom died in real life.
So maybe Jenny was in the VR machine the whole time. But like I said, there's about 20 minutes of the movie I zonked out during and really have no interest to go back and watch.
Kick ass soundtrack though!

I agree, I don't think any of the kids were real. There were adults there before, showing that Cassandra was in charge of the operating system for longer than the movie (at least that's what was said). She was just messing with different groups of adults at a time. (Anyone have thoughts on the security guard though and if he was either actually real, or if so, if he knew about the program and didn't mean to let her down after he said she had the wrong address?)
I don't think that she was in VR the entire time, though. Cassandra mentioned watching their prey before striking. Cassandra picked her out personally (there was a computer on the counter right next to the phone that, I assume, has a camera that could see the bills on the table and hear everything about needing doctors). What was the point of showing Jenny's father getting his head blown off? (Unless it was Cassandra, giving a reason as to why she's homicidal).
However, one question I have is, were the two other proctors real? Tiggs touched Jenny a bunch through the movie (touching and grabbing her arm) but the part where her throat gets slit in the ducts and then weirdly falls down a horizontal hall kind of threw me off. Also, the guy wouldn't have been real because if the kids weren't real 1) a bunch of kids held him down and suffocated him to death and 2) . . . a bunch of kids held him down and suffocated him to death. At least he had a nice body
My interpretation was that the coworkers were real, but they were able to hide the coworkers from her "vr sight". The children weren't real but the coworkers were...I mean the only one Jenny ran into was Cassandra and she was also the only one who talked.
I mean where did they find Darby? Didn't they find him in his room where Tiggs looked? Why would she switch observing between the three adults glasses if all three weren't real? Why would they pick Jenny as her prime prey? Why would she stay in that building if she could override Ariel? Why would adults keep her housed and fed and enable her to search for her prey? Why or what adults would treat child like that, especially if she has suffered a tragedy like her father being shot before her. What did Cassandra's experience with her father being shot have anyhing to do with her behavior in that building. Was her dad some genius techie and when he died she took over "Ariel" and hid below the building? So many questions... And all lead in different directions.
May be you should read what you've written above, again. You are confusing Jenny and Cassandra. Cassandra is the little girl, and JENNY is the one whose father has been killed. And then this portion from your second paragraph didn't make sense at all- Who is SHE that you're referring to? And whose prey?

Are u suggesting that Jenny and Cassandra are the SAME person?
I'm against people telling others to not watch something and I wouldn't have listened to anyone telling me to not watch this, BUT, I wish I hadn't wasted my time watching it. One of the worst movies I've ever seen.
