Mel was brilliant in this. Im a little tired of Robert Corny jr and Will (my wife will call the Oscars racist bc i wasn't noninated) Smith.
I can't wait for his war film and I hope he keeps going, acting and directing, hopefully more often!
Mel was fantastic in this. It was the best performance I've seen so far this year. It's a real rush when you see one of your favorite movie icons at the top of his game. While so many of his contemporaries are slumming it (Willis, Cage, Travolta, Cusack), it's a joy to see he still wants to show everyone he's one of the best actors in the business and that we've been missing out not seeing him on the big screen.
