In the book they just say they took care of him. I assume they killed him

I thought the established prison inmates were sort of welcoming Jonah into their "club," so to speak. They seemed happy to see Jonah and perhaps needed a new member for their debate team, chess club or whatever.

He killed sixteen Czechoslovakians. Guy was an interior decorator.
