I wonder what the significance of "Five Seconds of Silence" was when they intended to make this the movie title initially. Anyone have any idea?

The only idea I have is that '5 seconds of silence' actually means these moments when someone gets aware of the dark secret regarding his or her close one, and they're standing against each other for the first time after it, staring into eath other's eyes, and the silence is the only thing between them.
