Thanks ToshJank for the heads up on the interview. Oddly that book (and, i think, that interview) came out around 2014 and is off my radar. Can any Phans on this board share their thoughts of the book? Is it a must read?

Amazing book, the version on amazon thensoftcover is really good. But the Red Planet edition is even better, its hardcover and most of the photos (Lots of amazing behind the scenes pics) are in color while they are black and white in the softcover book.

Great book for phans, but the main players did not participate much. You get LOTS of interviews with the 3rd assistant to the associate set designer and things like that, but all in all it's definitely worth reading.

Angus (Rory to phriends) knew he would not see the release. However, he did see the final cut at at a cast and crew screening which he loved. He especially loved his scenes with Reggie and thought them compelling. Trust us...he's watching. And the Tsll Nan is amused...and ut is NEVER over!

Awesome, awesome Book not just for Phans, Don C as well. The book starts at Dons begginings with great chapters on Jim, and Kenny and Co. Then Phantasm 1-5, although not too much the latter. It goes in depth on everyone involved in the series.

One funny, bit was on P2, the building inspector was giving the crew a hard time over the amount of explosive that they were using to blow up Reggie's house in the beginning of the film. When he found out he was on the Phantasm sequel, being a fan of the first, he told them to blow the hell out of it.
