Rocky

Well first let me just say I enjoyed the movie! Im a true Phan,been waiting a long time for this.
One of the main things that was a slight let down for me was the fact that Rocky and Reggie, Didnt have a reunion! She was introduced late in the movie, saying that 'our ride is here' The cuda shows up which has Reg,Jody and Mike in,and we just see Rocky and the Dwarf get into the car and thats it! I was expecting some witty one liners from the both of them,Because he was always trying it on with her in part 3. (Ever tried vanilla?)!

I dont think the movie was as good as i thought it was going to be. The lady in lavender had only a minute or so screen time, and the tall man didnt seem as menacing as in previous installments.

But what helps this movie gain a place in my heart,is the fact that hollywood had no influence on this movie, As stated by the cast and crew in a featurette, it was made for the phans. And they all had a great time making it.

The effects i thought werent too shabby for a low budget production. Alot of them were practical and used the same method from the first movie.

These movies have always been very strange,and not everyones cup of tea,It seems pretty clear to me that at some point after part 4,Reggie was captured by the tall man,kept in some sort of coma,and fed dreams by some machine,which explains the alternate realities reggie is in at the time. The dessert,the hospital etc.

Anyway im gonna stop rambling i only came here to share my views on Rocky! Its turned into a mini review.

Overall a decent effort,even though it doesnt appear to be 'The End'

Im sure we will see the tall man again in the form of a new host.

Ill give the movie 7/10.
