Abysmal...

Huge phantasm fan here but there is no excuse for this travesty.We waited 18 years for this youtube quality piece of garbage?! Half of the freakin movie is just Reggie walking around aimlessly in the desert with cgi that looks worse than the car insurance General! The story makes ZERO sense and jumps back and forth with flashbacks so much that trying to follow it is an exercise in futility.
It's also not a spoiler to say that there is no closure here at all. The movie should have began where this movie ends but instead we got a movie filled with unexplained nonsense and characters that deliver their lines like it's a parody of Phantasm and not a sequel. HUGE disappointment.
