Phantasm V was Phantastic!!!

Phantasm have always been very low budget films and the budget for this is obviously the lowest, but what do you Phans want?,a $50 million budget?.These films have NEVER been mainstream in anyway, even in the horror community Phantasm is cult.
I loved the movie for the story and if they would of given answers "which they have, the tall man is a man named Jedediah,a man who went to another dimension and came out different" people would cry HALLOWEEN REMAKE,your explaining too much.
I'm glad they kept this movie cheap, low key and FOR THE PHANS!!!!
Thanks to all the phantasm creators Phantasm is without a doubt one of my top horror franchises EVER!!!!!

Yes, the Phantasm movies never really had much of a budget and gained mostly a cult following. However, the first 4 films are different from Ravager in one key aspect. They had inspiration. They had a story to tell, and practical effects that were memorable. The story in Ravager is a convoluted mess that tries to provide an explanation or conclusion while at the same time doesn't. And it would have been FINE if the ending alone was vague and open-ended, but the entire film was that way.

As for the effects, they actually looked subpar to some SyFy channel productions. Just some super cheap CGI. Even though the practical effects in the previous films weren't the best, they were endearing and had their own style. They helped make the Phantasm series what it is, and that's part of the reason Ravager doesn't quite fit.

Overall, it just seemed like everything was rushed with Ravager. The story was muddled, the effects were shoddy, and most likely the film was pushed out because they knew Angus probably wouldn't be around much longer. Hell, his screen time was much less in this than in the previous films, and when he was present, he wasn't doing much. Don't get me wrong, I loved seeing the cast back together again, I just wish the opportunity had been used better.

The end of the movie should have been the beginning of the movie !!!And, the cheese-ball new characters should of been introduced at the end and quickly killed-off ... Simply , because it was COMPLETELY IMPOSSIBLE to give a "mid-night *beep* about them(since there was about as much character development as meat in a damn street taco) !! The CGI was probably as cheap as a damn street taco too !! SAVE YOUR MONEY AND WAIT TO SEE THIS FOR FREE !!!

Phantastic? You are delusional. I watched this with a group of Phans and we were all extremely mad and disappointed afterwards. This movie was amateur hour to the max.You must be easily pleased...
