Since part 3 he has been driving the triple black Hemi Cuda convertible, but in Ravager he is driving the Cuda from Phantasm II?
Budgeting problem, or is this to add credibility to Reg having dementia?

shareThe original film's Cuda was a 1971 340 dressed up as a 440/6 Pack version, probably because of how rare the real 440/6 versions were. It also had darkly tinted windows, Cragar wheels and a specially made sunroof for the movie, since the car was not actually offered with one. The car was supposedly destroyed when it was flipped over near the end of II. Then Reg was somehow driving a 1970 Hemi Cuda convertible with a spoiler and stock wheels in the next few films; no explanation is ever given for this change. It doesn't make sense except for the multi layer reality explanation.
