midget ruins the movie.
every scene he's in completely takes me out of the movie. the fact that he's the main focus after the mid credits annoys the hell outta me. what an awful element to close out the franchise.

shareAgreed. How exactly did he blow himself up with grenades and then come back later?! Wtf?! Plus, his acting was putrid.
shareHe wasn't that bad but I would rather have seen Rocky.
shareAgree with OP, they should have left him completely out of the movie.
shareI didnt mind him, some of his lines were funny. But maybe its just me but it felt like his toughness and his was kinda forced like they were saying look at us we have a little person who is just as tough. I liked the character though just not how he was presented.
shareI didn't mind him either. I thought he was pretty funny. We see Rocky... and she's there for the 'rendezvous point'. Thing was the effect on Chunk coming out of the gate were decent. I was surprised seeing his legs half not showing... instead of simple effect from the original. Thing was Rocky was letting him on her BACK so he wouldn't have to walk. (And he explained his survival in some way too about using a type of explosive or something...). Funny thing was... No, you're right. We did not see a scene between Reggie and Rocky. We kept seeing the same angle of Reggie in the back from sort of the floor board in the back of the car... which was odd. And we saw Jody and Mike say something to each other.
Now, let's go back to Rocky & Chunk... he DRUG himself out of the Red Planet (which makes some sense with the different gravity AND he was hurt...) yet when he gets Rocky, she puts him down, and he RUNS after. He's completely ok! Was it all a ruse JUST to touch Rocky? Which was bad, yet funny.
Then Rocky gets into the car... are we again going through two different dimensions here again?? Is Reggie in the back of the car or not?? Is the Chunk who came out of the gate the same Chuck we saw earlier? Did he survive a DIFFERENT explosion that he COULD have lived from? I hate throwing this stuff back in here... but when I saw that last little bit, I was wondering... are we still going between dimensions here? Rocky wasn't there originally. They never explained WHERE she came from, or WHAT she was doing. Just meeting and the rendezvous point... so WHERE had she been? Could Chunk copping a feel a way to make sure she wasn't a zombie?? Because the zombies seemed to really make their debut heavily in the 3rd movie from where her character came from too! Yeah, I know there were other zombies working for the Tall Man going back to even the original movie... but they looked NORMAL, if I remember correctly. I know Ravager wasn't that great of a movie... but it is starting me to 'think' a bit more connecting all the movie together in a way, I've never really considered.
3rd generation American from a long line of Gottscheers... it was Drandul, dude!
I'm pretty sure Gloria doesn't live near Riverside, which is why she never appeared on screen with Reggie, sadly. They likely could not afford to bring one actor to the other location, so they used "movie magic" to make it appear as tho they are together.

I REALLY wanted the Tall Man to get him. And for a second there it looked like he was. When the dwarf shouted the "Hey Tiny!" line, the look on the Tall Man's face seemed to convey, "Yeah, enjoy your disrespect because I'm about to *beep* you up."
And then he didn't. :-/
OMG YES!!! 100% agree with OP
shareI had a bad feeling about the midget the moment I saw him in the trailer. Nobody ever puts midgets in these kinds of films to play them straight.
shareAgreed. His character should have been killed off. And why did he have to grab Rocky's boob at the end? What the hell was the point of that?
The end credits should have featured a scene with Reggie meeting up with Rocky, with maybe an emotional hug between them or something. Instead, they didn't even exchange any dialogue! You'd think maybe they'd be surprised to see each other after so many years?
