Do your dreams have a coherent plot and a satisfying ending?
No? Didn't think so. It's all just a dream.

It's not a dream, it's a movie and yes I expect both those things.

That feels a little like a cop out.
shareIt's a movie about dreams.
The whole series started off with the scare from Kenny & Company and the balls came from Don being attacked by them in his dreams.
Phantasm - a creation of the imagination or fancy; fantasy.
These movies work within dream logic. That is why people who have died (Reggie dies in every movie.. even the first where he comes back next scene) so in dream logic anything is possible and doesnt follow any set patterns. It's like a real dream where anything can happen and doesn't really have a satisfying conclusion.

The whole franchise is a cop out. Like I said... Reg dies in almost everyone. Mike and others get pulled through mirrors or windows and then next movie theyre fine.
