I think I found the problem

It seems that many people, myself included, were disappointed with this movie, especially as a conclusion to the series. Now, I'm not saying it was bad, just a let down. And, after thinking about it, I think I figured out why. Rather than a continuation of the series, this felt more like a side story. Similar to the first half of the 3rd movie where Reggie met that kid and they hung out for a bit before getting back to the main story. That's what this movie felt like. It was decent for a side story, but for a continuation of the series, let alone a conclusion to the series itself, I don't think it worked.

I totally agree with you about the part three feeling! The reason it felt like part three is because Don introduced more new and unnecessary characters which cost the original cast all their screen time. So so stupid! That's why people, including me, hate part III and Ravager: Why introduce new characters when you have a stellar original cast to work with? Reggie, Mike,Jody, Angus, and the Lady in Lavender are more than enough to write a 90 minute movie script. Ravager was just lazily written and lazily filmed. Don should've just made a cartoon, there was so much damn CGI in Ravager. Just a lazy cop out on Don's behalf. And I see Don is using all of this to pump Blue Ray sales for Christmas! It's all for the "Phans" right Don? I bet.
