About the 'Goof'

I was curious about the claimed 'Goof' in this movie, as I aced my college Astronomy classes and even gave lectures. So I listened VERY carefully to what he said. He actually says LITTLE DIPPER not Big Dipper. Since I happen to know that the star at the end of the handle of the Little Dipper IS the North Star, his statement is TRUE!
The only 'Goof' is the claim of there being a Goof.

It's been about 2 years since I saw the film, but I do believe that he said something about it easy to find Polaris, as it's the brightest star in the sky.
It is not the brightest, hence using the "pointer stars" in the big dipper to find the end of the little dipper.
So the goof is that Polaris is easy to find cause it's bright.
