I'm not sure it's the worst movie ever made but it is a really bad concept overall and the fact that M Streep accepted this role is beyond ludicrous.
I think it's poorly written, directed and acted.
It's not even moving in a depressing way.
Yeah this film is trash. Diablo Cody can't write her way out of a paper bag, everybody is a one-dimensional cardboard cutout instead of a fully realized character and Mamie Gummer is basically a robot with flesh. Must be great having Meryl Streep as a Mom. You can suck as an actress and still get work.
shareI agree with about Gummer. She was really bad in this, but she looks a lot like Streep, so she will keep getting work. This movie got more and more stupid as it went on. The reception was so bad. EVERYONE hated her and was mad she was making a speech? Forget it. There are so many things wrong and dumb I am just wasting my time. This movie was horrible.
