I agree. By the end of the movie I wish I could go back and count the minutes spent on the music. And it was just weird because unlike other non-musical movies (is this considered a musical? idek), they would film the ENTIRE song. Most movies just do a bit of the song, maybe verse and chorus, and then move on. This one made you sit through the WHOLE THING. And sometimes 2 or 3 songs consecutively.
It really was just like going to an actual bar and having to listen to some cover band, where you're KIND of having a good time, but also KIND of wishing they would just finish up already.
