40 Minutes in..... good film.....then.....

Well I was enjoying the film and the characters 30/40 mins in then it kind of went and took and slow, strange story in after that. I thought that maybe the Lacey character and Quentin would get together but during the road trip we could see that wasn't going to happen. Then we thought Margo and Quentin would meet up at the end and they did but kind of makes you feel less about Margo ... why would that guy go to all that trouble when she doesn't even care for you that way. So she seems quite selfish and I thought the film would end they get together but I guess it was different and not the typical ending.

I think I would have enjoyed the movie more if it was more of a high school story and not about some girl that has her own issues.

well thats my take on it. still enjoyed it but could have been better.

I agree. I was hoping Q and Lacie would end up together. Especially after the bathtub scene. Kinda bummed that didn't happen. It would've been nice after all that trouble and more getting to know eachother if during the road trip after the car accident if Lacie and Q had a moment to themselves and realize that they like each other and kiss. Or something like that. Personally not a big fan of how the movie turned out. Also, did her parents ever find out? Did Q tell them?

Exactly, when Margo and Q were adventuring through the night, I was pretty entertained...

There just wasn't much to like during the last half of the movie.

This is one of those movies that tried awfully hard to be deep, emotional, and thought provoking in a way that appealed to a teen/young adult crowd and failed. It's wasn't terrible, but it just didn't quite reach what it could have been.

Agreed...
Paper Movie!
Much better if Q & L got together. I don't care what happened in the book. Lacey and Ben was stupid.
