The leading man's hair...

He looked like Katie Couric. Little Richard uses less hairspray.

Or Norman Reedus aka Daryl Dixon too

reply

Ha, Daryl Dixon! I was trying to figure out where I've seen this guy before.

reply

I'm glad that that's all you took away from the film.

His hair was fine. He's a good looking dude.

reply

A crossed between Norman Reedus aka Daryl Dixon and a Kevin Bacon kinda deal.

You weren't the only one, I was obsessed with the hair as well. But then I found out this was supposed to have happened in the 60s. So that must be explanation.

reply

Actually, I don't think it was in the 60s. They were using cell phones, and at the beginning they were talking about the new house and they talked about how remote controls made the window blinds and the door lock work. And he talked about how he could open and lock the front door with an app.

reply

What made you think this was supposed to be in the 60s?

reply

Maybe I was confused because I'd read before it's happened a few times in Norway and the last time was in the 60s. Oh well, it was a good film, that's really all that matters, in the end, the hair was just distracting (to me...I'm weird).

reply

Ahh, I see.
Well, you're right and you're wrong.
We had some devastating avalanches and tsunamis in this area in the first half of last century. I can't remember any in the 60s though. Last one I remember was Tafjord in the 50s, I believe. But there may have been others that happened later.

This one, however, is one that they know WILL happen at some point. They just don't know when. And I'm pretty sure the movie is set in the exact time when it was filmed.

I was really looking forward to the haircut and suit makeover.
