Wile E. Coyote Moments

Seriously, how many times in this film was some idiot standing there in a trance or acting so stoned they should have filmed this in Amsterdam.

Between the moments when they should have been moving their ass, not thinking just reacting they decide to go sightseeing or have a dramatic pause, like when the geologist chick was told (more than once) to push the emergency button, or Idun once she heard the siren (you would think her husband has drilled it into her by now).

The worst however were the pauses that cost people their lives (or almost), the first was that tourist couple chick Maria as they run out the hotel to see the 275 foot wave less than 10 seconds away about to drop on them and Idun had to actually run back and get her, SERIOUSLY I would have left her like this http://www.mint.ca/store/dyn/looneytunes/images/coyote.png

And then the son swimming out of the shelter following his father but once out the door he becomes Little Bo Peep and was as useless as an anchor.

I understand you need to stretch the moments for drams and tension's sake but there were so many in this film it was literally COMICAL.
