why didn't they just call the police the 2nd time?

they called the first time and the cops came quickly, then when the daughter gets stuck in the walls they didn't call. that was stupid. i still enjoyed the movie but gave it a lower rating becuz of that blunder.

I thought the same thing! The wife could call the police and the father could have grabbed a knife (at least) in the kitchen before going up to try to rescue his daughter...

Right, all they needed to do was hit the panic button like they did the first time they ran passed it a dozen times going up and down the stairs. that pissed me off so much.

Yeah it was really stupid. Just a way to make the movie not end

Totally agree. The ending to me was a big disappointment on a movie that wasn't bad.
